Nanlux Matrix 2500B Bi-color Kit in Flight Case

The Nanlux Matrix 2500B Flight Case Kit is the transport ready version of the 2500W bi-color Matrix 2500B, built for rental houses, gaffers and large-scale productions that need a powerful white-light fixture delivered in a protective flight case.

Nebula B4 light engine and output

The Matrix 2500B uses a four-head integrated design built for multi-unit lighting arrays. Its NANLUX Nebula B4 Light Engine combines four types of white light chips to reach a CCT range of 2700K to 6500K with green/magenta adjustment of +/-80. Together with CCT and Effect modes, this gives productions a strong, accurate bi-color source for large environments, bounce lighting, accent lighting and background illumination.

Output is one of the key strengths of the Matrix 2500B. On its own, it produces 13,470 lux at 3m at 5600K. With the included FL-MT25 Motorized Fresnel Lens at 16 degrees, however, that climbs to 103,000 lux at 3m at 5600K. The motorized Fresnel zooms from 16 to 48 degrees and lets operators adjust the beam angle remotely, so crews no longer need to adjust it by hand when fixtures sit high up or work inside larger rigged arrays.

Built for modular arrays

An all-in-one design integrates the control unit and power adapter into the fixture, so setup only needs one power cable. The compact lamp spacing means that when crews place several Matrix fixtures together, the gap between adjoining fixtures closely matches the internal lamp spacing inside each unit. As a result, arrays sit in a compact layout and produce a more even beam.

With the optional four-light frame, crews can combine four Matrix fixtures into a 10,000W setup, while the 4-way power distribution cable and EXT port cables simplify power and synchronized control. They can also rig multiple arrays together on truss systems to build a larger modular lighting matrix.

Housing, cooling and control

A one-piece magnesium alloy housing gives the Matrix 2500B an IP66 rating, so it holds up to rain, high heat and dusty conditions on set. In addition, a front-to-rear airflow structure manages heat build-up in stacked lighting arrays and supports continuous high-load use. Four fan modes, Smart, Full Speed, Low Speed and Off, let users balance cooling performance against sound requirements.

The fixture supports eight control methods: on-board, remote controller, wired controller, NANLINK App, DMX/RDM, LumenRadio CRMX, Art-Net/sACN and NFC. It also features a new accessory mount with electronic contacts, so it can recognize supported modifiers automatically and run dedicated motorized accessories.
