Light Bulb

Nanlite’s Light Bulb range takes the brand’s full colour LED engine and puts it into a standard bulb fitting, so a practical lamp in shot can become a controllable light source instead of a fixed prop. Punklight carries the PavoBulb 10C in both 4 and 12 light kit configurations, giving a full colour, app controlled set of bulbs that screw straight into an existing lamp, sconce or ceiling fitting on location.

Alongside the bulbs themselves, this category includes the wire controller and the USB-C to DMX cable splitter needed to bring multiple bulbs onto one DMX universe or link them to a lighting console, which matters as soon as a scene needs more than one or two practicals working together. Because the bulbs are wireless and app controlled by default, most productions only need the splitter when integrating them into a larger DMX rig.

For productions that rely on practicals, whether that is a table lamp in frame or a full set of interior fittings that need to shift colour and intensity on cue, this is where to find Nanlite’s answer to the standard tungsten bulb.
