Honeycrates

Honeycrates makes honeycomb grid modifiers that narrow and control the spread of light from LED tube and panel fixtures, cutting spill and adding directionality without changing the colour or intensity of the source. Punklight stocks the range built to fit Astera Titan, Hyperion and Helios tubes, along with larger overhead and wrap around grids for bigger fixtures.

The Baby Bee and Bee Webb grids are sized for individual tubes, in 2, 4 and 8 foot lengths, giving a tight 50 degree spread that keeps light off walls and backgrounds when precision matters. The Butterfly grid covers a 4 by 4 foot area for panel style fixtures, while the Overhead range scales up further, with wrap around grids from 4×6 up to 8×8 feet for controlling large soft sources rigged above a set. A dedicated grid is also available for the Creamsource Vortex fixture.
