Litemover motorized rigs let a crew pan, tilt and reposition a conventional fixture remotely from a lighting console, instead of sending someone up a ladder mid show or mid shoot. It is a common way to add moving light control to fixtures that were never built with motors, useful on theatrical, broadcast and event productions where a cue calls for a light to shift position on the fly.
