Nanlite
The Forza 150B LED Spotlight from Nanlite is strikingly compact and lightweight considering the powerful light output it provides. Weighing only 3.4 lbs, the Forza 150B employs a glass-covered, bi-color COB LED module with a CCT range of 2700K-6500K. It can output 23,130 Lux (2,148 fc) of 5600K daylight-balanced light at 1 meter with the included reflector. Like all Nanlite fixtures, the Forza 150B maintains high CRI and TLCI ratings (96 and 98), ensuring accurate color rendition. The Forza 150B features a locking 3.5mm input for DMX/RDM control, and an on-board USB port for firmware updates can be used to power DMX receivers. Even though it’s as compact as possible, the Forza 150B has several on-board controls, 2.4GHz for use with remote controls and the WS-TB-1 Transmitter Box (sold separately), and Bluetooth for direct control with the free NANLINK mobile app for iOS and Android. Included is a Bowens-mount adapter with a built-in umbrella mount, travel case, reflector, and an AC adapter with a V-Mount battery mounting slot.
Compact with Bi-Color Punch
The Forza 150B is similar in many ways to the popular Forza 60B LED monolight, except that it delivers twice as much light output, and it has an even quieter fan. When you don’t need that much power, the Forza 150B can be dimmed from 0 to 100% and every step in-between. When you do need more light, the separately available FL-11 fresnel lens increases the output to a formidable 54,290 Lux (5,043 fc).
Do More with the FM Mount
One of the reasons the Forza 150B can be so compact and lightweight is that it has the Nanlite FM Mount. A wide range of dedicated light modifiers are available for this mount, such as multiple types of softboxes and projection attachments. A Bowens-mount adapter that fits inside the travel case is included so you can utilize a vast number of light-shaping tools with the Forza 150B, while still reaping the weight and space-saving benefits of having the considerably smaller FM Mount. Changing modifiers is as easy as pressing a button and twisting a quarter turn.
Get Creative with 12 Effects
Not only is the Forza 150B bright, compact, and lightweight, it’s also got some above-average capabilities. On board are 12 practical effects: CCT Loop, Flash, Pulse, Storm, TV, Paparazzi, Candle/Fire, Bad Bulb, Firework, Explosion, INT Loop, and Welding.
Many Options for Power
Optimized for use in the studio or on location, the Forza 150B can run off either the included AC adapter or a 14.8w or a 26V V-Mount battery (Not Included), so you can operate in any location regardless of power availability. A V-Mount battery mounting plate is provided on the AC adapter, and a locking 4-pin XLR power connector on the fixture helps you avoid unintentional disconnections.
Always Color Accurate
Power and portability are excellent qualities to have, but if your light isn’t reliably accurate you will have lots of problems with your footage and images in post production. The Forza 150B features a CRI of 96 and a TLCI of 98, meaning you can always shoot with confidence knowing the color reproduction will be precise.
Light Stand and Sound Friendly
Supplied with a standard 5/8" receiver mount, the Forza 150B can be mounted directly on any standard light stand, and the one-sided yoke makes easy to angle and stay locked in the perfect position. The active, silent fan on the Forza 150B keeps the light running cool and won’t interfere with your audio when using microphones on quiet sets.
